DeVoG classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art educational technology. Learn by seeing, hearing and doing with hands-on workshops and interactive DVDs. PIVOT POINT® developed the program to ensure that students of every learning style can succeed. Using specially designed learning aids, we can teach complex skills while developing artistic talent. Our hands-ons approach ensures that you will have the confident to perform services on live clients in no time! PIVOT POINT® mannequins and components, similar to those depicted to the left, are carefully made to simulate a real head of hair. Individually placed hairs project out of soft scalps with natural angles and patterns. You will have ample components to practice hundreds of hair cutting techniques, updos, colours, styling options and perms. You will develop valuable experience and skills before you perform services on real clients in the school's teaching salon.

TAX DEDUCTABLE:
This program is registered to issue T2202s. Allowing you or your parents to claim approximately $9,400.00 in tax credits.

To be eligible for an Ontario Hairstyling License you must be able to provide proof of successful completion of Grade 12 in Ontario or equivalent. To attend DeVoG you must complete a tour or a telephone interview.

DeVoG prefers students who have good attendance in their last job or school. We look for students who are committed, are career-focused, success oriented and have strong communication skills.

• OSAP - For students who qualify, DeVoG offers financing that is similar to OSAP; See PAYMENT OPTION 2, below.
• HRSDC and EI - Some students are eligible for full grants through EI.
• BANKS - Most banks offer student loans.
